I think it compares to California (not the Silicon Valley area, but close!). And also has a various landscape, resembling San Francisco's beautiful bay area. Vibrant by day and by night, most inhabitants can enjoy a great life with an average salary of around 2000 EUR in 2022 and rent is still affordable, when you compare it to cities such as London or Paris. And many students come from all round the country to study in Cluj-Napoca at a prestigious Univeristy such as Babes-Bolyai! Shopping malls galore, this is the city where we also enjoy a high number of tourists.

Cluj Napoca is a good city, not great because is not as big as London, Paris, New York..is more of a middle to small city, it has around 350k people and around 5km from one end to another, for a middle type city is very safe in the city center and just safe for the rest of the town, you can party or have fun fairly easy and cheap, but the rent for 2 rooms is around 450 euro in city center and 400 euro for the rest of the town, 3 rooms is 500-600 euro..the salary is the minimum 450 euro, the average salary is around 700 euro. The monthly bills are around 100 euro on average per apartment and the food is the most expensive in the country..around 150 euro for 1 person per month.
