There's nothing good about Bolivia I visited all of it last year. One of the posters mentioned high cocaine production throughout Bolivia that's the truth. The Bolivia government condones cocaine production and profits from it too

People don’t believe what these losers said in the comments, lmao that’s really far away from reality, Bolivia is a beautiful country full of cultures and different type of lifestyles. Crime is low compared to other places and if you have money you can live like a king in La Paz, Cochabamba or Santa Cruz.

Go there and enjoy a wonderful trip with the crazy landscapes and nice people!!!!

Bolivia is full of drug cartel which are terrorists especially since Bolivia is the second largest producer of cocaine globally.Should tourists visit Bolivia? Absolutely nothing safe about Bolivia most everyone is into coca production throughout the country.Others paint Bolivia as such a peaceful country but I know better than that especially since I'm Bolivian and I've lived here my entire life.Bolivia doesn't need your tourist money never has.Tourism is just a front and nothing Brazil borders Bolivia Peru too both are transport routes.Visit a different country save your life.

To Anonymous and Mar Levin, your comments are far from the truth. Bolivia is an amazing country and full of culture and great people. I will come back there anytime. I had the best time of my life there not only because everything was "cheap" but the people were very friendly and humble. Bolivian street food is by far the best, I have tried Mexican Costa Rican, Salvadorian, Colombian, Peruvian, Argentinian, etc. but nothing beats a humble Bolivian salteña.

Bolivia is number 2 worldwide for cocaine production. Distribution is out in the open druglords scour the streets murder is normal for turf wars. It's business as usual since Argentina and Brazil border Bolivia.High levels of crime outwardly from the government who condone it.The crime statistics should be 100%. Sure it's easy to get a residency permit for Bolivia arrive in Bolivia get the permit no questions asked. I've visited all of Bolivia over the years lived there for 5 years seen it all. I got out for two reasons heavy presence of drug cartels very visible. Living in Bolivia is a death sentence don't do it.

On the same note don't live in Argentina or Peru or Colombia either same scenario no joke.

I don’t know where these other people visited but, I just returned from LaPaz and fell in love with the city, the people, EVERYTHING - it was so clean - they washed the Hugh sidewalks every day, the people were gracious and welcoming and I have NOTHING NEGATIVE to say at all about the town - it was clean, the service was spot on eveywhere we went and it was the BEST 3 days I’ve spent on a vacation in years!!! I would LOVE to live there and I am retired and really considering a move there - why not??? My kids are closer to me there than they are to where I live now and also love the city - I have NO COMPLAINTS at all about it and LOVED, LOVED it there - plus, if it is so bad, why do so many expats live there??? I met quite a few and they love living there - some people can never be happy

La Paz isn't for the faint at heart traveler.Armed robberies and abductions are common place not only in La Paz but throughout most areas. Our visit was very brief for this reason. Our tour guides were carrying guns on them when we visited La Paz SantaCruz and Sucre. We asked them why they had guns? They said just incase there were any bears.Bears in those cities we asked and during the day? Our trip ended in Santa Cruz we left glad to get out of Bolivia.
