I live in Bordeaux and always feel safe. This is one the most beautiful city in France and in Europe, elected befor COVID by several US magazine the most beautifull city in Europe.
It is a French city so it has the same problems as other French cities, where crime is on the rise. But I can say that the city center is extremely safe.
