I’m from Switzerland and was few months living in Bratislava .Bratislava is one of most safe city in world .did live and visit huge no of capital cities in world and Bratislava is so easy walk in day and night and not to be worried .I m Color skin and never got trouble in Bratislava

Came to visit Bratislava on my way to Romania from uk. Haven’t felt welcomed and on top of that my car was broken and they took everything they could carry. Not a really safe capital. One day there and it was enough to know that I won’t come again. Shamed, beautiful country but if you don’t know the language you’ll be ignored as not many of them know English.

Basically bratislava is safe. I'm here for last 4 years. But with increasing number of illegal immigrants it's getting less safe than before. I can see the difference now. I think in few year they will have same problems as Wiena or Paris where I lived previously.

I have been living in Bratislava for the past 15 months. It is safe as it stands. To better say, if you got dark skin and mind your business, you should be fine. From the other end is like a lottery. If you find yourself at the wrong place, at the right moment, then read the news of the attack on immigrants in Bratislava. Many attacks are never reported but shared only between foreigners. Police don't care much, so the people are not either reporting those events. Immigration is low but slowly increasing. It is getting more and more western country, and so the crime index will dramatically increase.

Everybody says that Bratislava is one of the safest city in Europe... well, this is because of no immigration.
Wherever there are immigrants from Africa or middle east there is crime and violence.
