As someone who lived in this city most of his life, I can surely confirm that vandalism, being mugged and being insulted based on your race, skin color, religion is more higher than written here.

All events happening mainly in West part of Holon, where it connected with Bat-Yam. And some areas in South holon such as Jessi-Cohen, known as poverty neighborhood that Africans and USSR immigrants living due low cost area with high crime rate.

Holon is fairy safe and fun to walk during daylight, but at Night I would suggest staying home. I had 2 events where I could be stabbed to death, I went to atm to take some cash (it 5 minutes walking), then on return some guy who was using drugs asked if I have something, I couldn't understand him so I just walked away and he had knife on his hand but he didn't tried to stab me. I am quite tall and stronger than him, other day I went to shop and some guy asked if I can give him cigarette, I said I don't smoke, he wanted to stab me but he couldn't because there was cameras around shop and people.

Be very aware of people and try to avoid them by changing path. And avoid walking alone at night, especially at Jessi-Cohen. Your chances of getting away from this neighborhood with all your belongings is super low if someone will approach you at night. Nothing to worry about during daylight.
