Some of my family is in Hubballi-Dharwad. We never go on trains and rarely buses in that area, Robbery and extortion are commonplace.

Hubballi-Dharwad is not the first place when it comes to ideal cities. Roads are very bad. Dust ridden city. Housing discrimination is too much especially against Muslims, Dalits. Lot of crimes are also on the rise chief among them being armed robbery & murder.
Nandakumar on Dec 23, 2021:
Hubballi and Dharwad are worst and highly dangerous places filled with murderers, burglars, thieves, gangsters and molesters.
All the politicians from Hubballi and Dharwad are dangerous criminals. Cows are a million times safer than humans in Hubballi.
Vinod on Dec 21, 2021:
All the politicians from Hubli and Dharwad are criminals. Hubli and Dharwad are paradise for murderers, hooligans and thieves. I am very honest.

I am from Hubballi and was suffering from a severe mental disease Schizophrenia. The water served in Hubballi was having tape worms and carbide powder. I had to go to Odisha to cure my mental disorder, thankfully I am recovering.
Yesterday people had mugged me and assaulted me with knives and injured me at Basavanna Nagar in Hubballi. They stole my backpack that had laptop and my mobile phone. They ran away in bullet bikes with helmets. I am scared of the police in Hubballi and don't want to approach them.

People with helmets, sunglasses, knives, machetes and jackets came on bikes 4 days ago and snatched my gold chain and purse at Gokul Road in Hubli. They abused and cursed me in Kannada. They also groped and threatened me with knives. This happened at around 7:30 pm. I am scared to lodge an FIR since the police at Hubli are most corrupt and they support the gangsters and criminals. I am commenting here since I am helpless. This will never happen in my native place of Bhubaneswar.

Rape culture is found throughout Hubballi and Dharwad. Most gangrapes, murders and chain snatching incidents never get reported in Hubballi. With rape culture, Hubballi will be Karnataka's city with most population, next only to Bengaluru.
Most Muslims in Hubballi live in ghettos and slums, and there is rampant discrimination towards the religious minorities by the Hindus in Hubballi. I am very honest with my comments.

Hubli is good city to live in for common family. All facilities are available.Quite cheap for vegetables, food etc.people r good.we can save money.cleanliness to be improved in some areas.Roads also.To be made more greanary like Bangalore.
Ibrahim on Feb 15, 2021:
The government knows that Hubballi-Dharwad people depend entirely on the Central Government only. Crime does not get reported in Hubballi. There is plenty of violent crime that goes unreported in Hubballi-Dharwad such as theft, murder, gangrape, extortion, chain-snatching.
Being a native of Hubballi, I know these facts. Hubballi boasts of being Karnataka's 2nd largest city in area/population but the people are very harsh and rude. Hubballi is certainly not a go-to destination like Pune, Navi Mumbai or even Southern Karnataka.
