in center it's super cool during the day and night but i went outside center at night and i saw many junkies in some places and some lady told me she got robbed there but in center its really cool

Super safe city and some of the friendliest people I've ever met! So nice to walk around during the day and at night! Never felt safer anywhere else, really

another gang shooting not long ago 3 died but it dosen't mean it is dangerous just depends where u go and at what time

If u are looking for crime you're in the wrong city in slovenia if u want crime maybe go to city of celje or velenje in slovenia

Well, the guy who got shot in 2023 stole 1.5mil from some people who took revenge. Not like it was random shooting or danger to anyone else. Can't really say Ljubljana is dangerous because of that. I live here 30+ years, have walked streets thousand times from dusk till dawn, literally walked every square inch during night alone and never even witnessed issues, yet alone being targetted. As someone said, you could just lay down on any bench and sleep and if anyone woke you up it would be police telling you to go somewhere else. If that's scary, then yes, Ljubljana is dangerous. Otherwise it's not :)

well there was gang shooting 1week ago 1 guy died so i don't think is the safest in the world but it's also not that dangerous

Moved here from UK and there is zero crime in comparison. Your elderly neighbours are safe from scammers. No shootings.

Corruption in politics is a thing, and for some reason bikes are often 'borrowed'. Keep your lock safe and bike parked in the right places and it's no issue.

Donno what the last fear-mongering person was saying, people don't get murdered here so casually. Absolutely not a dangerous place.
