I have been to N'djamena pretty much every year for the last 10 years. People are very friendly; however, you have to be very careful in some areas (north of N'djamena) where people affiliated to some ethnic groups like Zagawa and Goran commit crimes such as snatching the motorcycles, cars and even standard bicycles with impunity. Those people, the majority of them are not educated, as result they don't have any sense of curtesy, respect for human lives. They feel like they are above the law; they are ready to use their guns and knives etc. Pollution is worsening, very windy and sandy, dusty sometimes. The beauty of being in N'djamena is, you would enjoy food, drink and meeting honest and hardworking people.
