El lunes 20 de septiembre, mi esposa y Yo, como turistas en Costa Rica, visitamos la playa de Puerto Viejo, mientras nos bañábamos en el mar, ladrones abrieron el vehículo que habíamos rentado y no robaron nuestras tarjetas de crédito y dinero en billetes de colones costarricenses y dólares estadounidenses. No percatamos del robo hasta que como a la 7:00 p.m. terminamos de cenar en un restaurante y descritos que no teníamos ni el dinero ni las tarjetas.
De inmediato llamamos a nuestra hija para que llamara al Banco G&T Continental avisado del robo y que bloquearan nuestras tarjetas de crédito.
Al mismo tiempo, reporte el robo a una carro patrulla de la policía y me dijeron que no podían hacer nada y que en ese puerto había un elevado número de robots a turistas, tráfico de drogas y delincuentes nacionales y panameños que cruzaban la frontera que está a corta distancia.
Afortunadamente estamos bien, salvo la molestia de haber sido robados y quedarnos sin dinero, por lo que inmediatamente nos regresamos al hotel en lla capital San José,
