I find Pune to be one of the worst cities to live in, especially when considering the high cost of living, rising crime rates, and the overall lack of cleanliness and effective administration. The streets are often littered, and it seems like many residents have little regard for maintaining their surroundings. Safety is a major concern, with crime increasing and the police seemingly more focused on parades than on actual law enforcement. The local culture fosters a sense of freeloading and apathy, making it difficult to feel proud of the city. Honestly, I wouldn't want to stay here even if someone offered me a crore; the state of affairs in Pune is absolutely pathetic.

Never join any software company. The Indians are the worst people you'll ever meet and Indians, including overseas Indians are good at exploiting and harassing their junior employees at work, especially in software companies. Indian managers have zero knowledge of coding, no programming skills and they have been promoted by only bootlicking their seniors. All the Indian managers in software companies are most corrupt and they play politics. These managers never work and abuse their juniors with strict timelines and micromanagent using Agile Scrum policies. These managers take unnecessary work and pass it onto their juniors. The juniors are threatened with their promotion, compensation, hikes and bonus, utilization credit, onsite travel being cut or deprived. The Indian managers never work, don't know anything about technology and harass their subordinates and juniors. There are no proper work timings in software companies in India.

Pune is one of the worst places in terms of crime, air pollution and sanitation. Garbage is found scattered everywhere throughout this town. Public transport is pathetic. Extremists are on the rise, lover's day celebrations are threatened and lovers are assaulted by religious vigilantes in Pune. Pune is a hellhole and a disgusting place.
In Pune, mostly the worst unqualified people are recruited in its software companies. These people don't have any software talent, they are there just for on-site opportunities and to make money. Pune has thousands of horrible software engineers.

Property crime is increasing in once peaceful parts of Pune. Apart from that insult and hate crime (with more dangerous crime intension ) are all time high. Commissioner of police should investigate at the grassroots level and take corrective measures. Owing to on-going super emergency due to covid, some obnoxious people are trying to loot others financially, socially and emotionally. This is the time to identify them and put them behind the bar.
Thank you.

Maharashtra is ruled by regional parties and they consider Marathis to be superior to people from other states. This is correctly mentioned by @Harish in the Quality of Life section. Now, Pune is leading the country with the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the country.
This is a lesson to all the software hubs like Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai and one more hellhole Hyderabad that Working From Home is not stopping the increasing trend if Covid Positive cases and deaths. All the software companies in India are filled with cheaters, fraudsters and swindlers in all management levels. Their many objective is cost-cutting and increasing their revenue and savings by making people to Work From Home. Peanuts will be given by these crooks to the hard-working and sincere software engineers.
And Indians will ruin whichever foreign country they settle down. Also all the Government institutions in India are pillars of deceit, injustice, racism and bigotry.
Rape, murder, theft and extortion cases are very high in Pune. Most of these crimes are not reported.
