At night there is noise and light pollution from street lights and cars.

A lot of rivers are also so polluted that they are closed down and have warnings.

Air is polluted with elevated levels of cancer causing chemicals close to the fractories and smells like rubber from the cars. The air quality is even worse than Downtown Toronto.
