Property prices are insanely getting high in Bangalore, people with average salary can't buy a decent home here. I am living here for last 7 years, after migrating from delhi. I found that rents are very high compared to Delhi, but unlike delhi houses are usually well ventilated. The worst thing is the deposit amount demanded by the land lords which is mostly amounts to 10-12 months of rent, which is inasanely high, in delhi no one ever asked for advance deposit of more than two months. This is like extortion, they create issues while returning the deposit while shifting the home, they will deduct one or two months rent from the deposit amount, though they charge you maintenance separately still you will have to pay for the minor repair works in the house, be its electrical work, plumbing or any thing else.

I am staying at Doddathogur area of Bengaluru and everyday the sewage water overflows onto the roads. The roads here don't have any tar, they are just mud roads. It has been like this for years. In my apartment, the cars and bikes pass through the sewage water and the sewage water gets stuck on the tires. Our entire apartment parking lot stinks everyday. Children play in this contaminated place in the parking lot. I am paying Rs. 50,000 room rent here.

I was staying as a Paying Guest in Bengaluru's Marathahalli. There were plenty of bedbugs in my room, curtains, pillow and blankets. I suffered allergies and skin rashes during my stay in Bengaluru. I was forced to drink contaminated water and I suffered food poisoning and diarrhea many times. I asked for a refund of the 10 months advance rent I had paid. My landlord was very rude and refused the refund.
I am very honest about these information and telling you the truth.

I have a severe mental illness and am undergoing treatment in Sydney. I found out that NIMHANS in Bangalore offers cheaper and better treatment than Sydney. I find Bangalore a delightful place for people like me. I have also shaved my head. Please pray for my speedy mental recovery.
But 10 months advance house rent in Bangalore is something I need to consider before moving to Bangalore.
