I grew up in Bergen County, N.J. and spent most of my first 45 years there, before moving out to California. Bergen County is mostly upper middle class suburbs, and my estimate would be a high Net income, probably 5000+ per month net average. I used to rent an apartment for 1050 for a one bedroom, outside of city center, around maybe Year 2000, and that was a condo unit that I was paying 850 for, then it was raised, so I left. I don't know how much it would be now, probably 2700?

I'd say that crime is low overall. I think the cost of entertainment is high, food is above average, dining is on the higher side too. Climate is good with a four season climate. Health Care rating would be high overall. Travel times may be slow, due to heavy traffic, especially near Fort Lee/GW Bridge (to go into NYC). I would rate the Quality of Life as High or Very High.
