Life is too short to live in Swindon. It has no culture, narrow-minded boring people, and nothing to do. It's also an hour away from anything decent.

You only live once, you will regret spending the best years of your life in Swindon.

There's a huge difference between Swindon
'Old Town' and Swindon 'New Town'.

The 'New Town' is commonly known as The Bronx - that's the flat area and shopping place near the bus and train station.
Boarded-up shops and poor mimics of Wetherspoons pubs.

Go uphill to the South and you'll find something like civilisation.
Avoid any of the outskirts that start with the letter 'P'. Crime rates are silly.
